Brigadier General Goodfellow (Retired)

This is my oil painting that presents some of the highlights of Brigadier General Gerald Goodfellow’s outstanding 30 year U.S. Air Force career. General Goodfellow attained the rating of Master Navigator having served in numerous aircraft including the KC-135, E-6B, and his personal favorite: the B-1B Lancer. Some of his most notable assignments are depicted such as the Pentagon, the Army War College, Randolph Air Force Base, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. His three highest decorations are shown as well as his Distinguished Flying Cross with V device for Valor and the Air Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters for completed combat missions. General Goodfellow also received the prestigious Mackay Trophy and the Ira Eaker award for his continuous 36 hour flight around the world in a B1 Bomber.
